but I have mastered the art of chocolate chip cookies.

My helper in crime has discovered the joys of brown sugar. Now before I show you proof, allow me to let you in on a little secret.....
As a little girl, (I don't know exactly how old...but basically my whole childhood that I can remember)
I would get myself a paper baking cup out of the cupboard, FILL it....as in PACK it FULL....of brown sugar. Then proceed to my spot on the couch and watch T.V. while I ate my brown sugar.
I want to throw up a little bit thinking back on it....but man was it good, and man I was blessed with good teeth....because they should have rotted and fell out long ago.
I had to share this memory with Marley the other day.
And now I'm in trouble.
For the first time in 11 years and 4 kids I had to put a child proof door knob thingy majjiger on my pantry door. She can't stay away.
"Don't yock me IN da panty!" she yells at me ten million times a day...."I won't do it again! I promise!" I don't know what "it" is she is referring to....It's either climbing to the 4th shelf and getting hidden candy, helping herself to the brown sugar, playing in the bag of rice....or flour....or breaking up bag after bag of ramen noodles....finding the leftover fireworks
from the summer....
But either way, she's locked OUT.
And I like it!
And I like my cookies too!
And so does the helper...
Maybe too much....

Ha! Spencer absolutely loves brown sugar! I often find him hiding under the table drinking syrup, eating sugar, baking chocolate, basically anything considered sugar...so gross! Really wish we were still across the street so I could taste your cookies, they look awesome!
Haha! Did mom teach all of us kids that it was good to eat brown sugar like that? I used to do the exact same thing except I'd pack an entire plastic drinking cup full and eat it with a spoon :)
I expect some cookies next time we go to the parental untis' house. Jill makes a mean cookie so I need to compare and see if we should switch recipes.
Awe I miss my marley girl. She has the prettiest blue eyes! I dont remember eating brown sugar, you guys must be crazy! And send me some of those cookies! : )
