We took the kids up to Silver Lake and hiked around. How lucky we are to have the mountains a few minutes away. The boys love running wild, playing King of the Mountain, finding walking sticks, chasing ducks, and just being boys.
Macks always thinks that he needs to ride in the stroller too....so we told him he could if he held his sister. It last about 2 minutes.
Mason was falling off the log with Marley...or so he thought...

The boys played in the river for ever. Mason and Madden built a dam....
Macks sent his lego guy (that never leaves his side) down the river in its empty Pringle can boat over and over....
and Marley sat in her stroller kicking her legs furiously, squealing, and grinning from ear to ear with excitement.
(oh...and she ate the strap on her stroller)
It was a day well spent.

stinkin cute kids. too bad their mom and dad were too tired and lame to bring them to play with their favorite aunt on monday.
