Dinner is served

Out of the blue the boys asked if they
could make us dinner last Saturday.....
all. by. themselves.

They were SOOOO excited!
They sent Bill to the store with a list of things to buy.
(including 14 different kinds of beverages)

They made me proud by setting everything out on the counter nicely and organized

We were told to sit at the table and they would come and take our order.

And they would "SERVE" us

Our options for the night.....
-Grilled Cheese Sandwiches (with or without jam on top)
-Nachos
-Apples, Strawberries, and Bananas
-Grated cheese
(everyone likes to eat grated cheese by the handfuls, right?)
-Bean Dip with chips
-Any drink you could think of
-Vanilla ice cream or Rainbow Sherbet for dessert

My delicious dinner

We even got "frequent diner cards"....
10 stars and we get a FREE meal!
I can hardly wait!!

I love when my kids are so happy.
I love when they get excited over little things.
I love when they think they are so big and can do anything.
I love when they want to be responsible.
And most of all, I love when I don't have to make dinner.

THANKS BOYS!!

Can you hear me still laughing my head off? Too cute! And so ingenious to think of making a frequent diner card! Must take after their clever mother!

Love it! I cannot wait until we have kiddos old enough to do fun stuff like that. And total bonus not having to make dinner!

OMG! Awesome! I wish Connor would ask if he could do that for us! I don't think the kids would be able to make ANYTHING though!

I totally did that as a kid once. Regan and I set up a resturaunt (called Juan and Osto's Diner... those were our nick names at the time) We made up menus's and listed all the meals on there (probably similar to that of your boys!) and had a tablet to take their order on... we thought we were big time! ;)

SO FUN!

oh, and jam on top of your grilled cheese?! Really? Was that their "creation" or is that a regular in the Fronce home? I have never even heard of that before!! :)

Umm, why were we not invited to dinner? When their business really gets going maybe they can try Sunday dinner at Nani's. Ha ha love them!

Tiffany - Jelly on top of grilled cheese is amazingly delicious. I don't think I had heard of it until we moved back to Utah.

When are Mason and Madden going to come make Jill and me dinner?
