MASON'S F.H.E NIGHT
Mason planned our Family Home Evening last week all by himself and did an incredible job! He told us a story that he learned in primary about a little boy and his sister who went hiking, fell off a cliff, the little girl grabbed onto a branch to save herself and her brother grabbed onto her leg. Noticing that she couldn't hold her weight and his weight, the brother decided to let go so his sister could be saved. Before he let go he told her that he loved her. (That was the shortened version...and I just have to add that my sweet little Mason got all teary eyed and had a hard time finishing the story. He quickly blamed it on "allergies," (like any normal man would do) but Bill and I both know what a sweet, kind, sensitive boy we have been blessed with. He then had us learn Article of Faith #3 (it's our family goal to have them all memorized before Mason gets baptised this year) and then we made "heart baskets" out of paper plates that he learned how to make in school. We hung the baskets up and when we write "love" notes to each other we put them in the basket. Thanks for the fun night Mase!
