FIELD TRIP

I got asked to go on Mason's field trip with his class to Thanksgiving Point yesterday. I have to admit....I wasn't thrilled about the idea, but it ended up being a pretty good day. I had the BEST group out of anyone. My four kids were angels....got along well together, didn't get lost once, were quite entertaining, and chose NOT to get soaking wet in the Noah's Ark fountain. Why the kids were given the "choice" on that matter I will never know!?!? Here are a few photos from our fun day!

Posing by our little friend we found....aka the little squirrel statue glued to a rock

On the bus....my LEAST favorite part of the day. Loud, windy, stinky, hot....yuck!!

Eating our lunch! We were all starving! Half way through lunch I noticed ants all over my legs....come to find out, I sat down right on top on a nice little handful of raisins that someone so kindly left who knows when....and a zillion ants were having their lunch at the same time! Gross!

In the bear cave on the bear statue....poor bear!

The lunch picture with Mason squinting is perfect. He's a stud. And did he wear the hat to keep the sun out of his eyes or what? Or did he decide to pay homage to his uncle Mike who used to work at Thanksgiving Point's FARM COUNTRY?!
