MY BABY TURNS ONE!!!

Macksen turned ONE last week....and I was just hoping that if I tried hard enough to ignore it, it wouldn't happen. But, much to my dismay, it did. My baby is no longer a baby....

-He knows how to throw a tantrum when he doesn't get want he wants.

-He wants to feed himself.

-He gives you this funny look right when he's about to do something that he knows he shouldn't do.

-He loves to tease his brothers and tries to take away whatever it is that they are playing with.

-He blows kisses, waves bye-bye, can point out his tongue and nose when you ask him where they are, prefers to give"bonks" (hits his forehead into yours) instead of kisses.

-He loves to "race" you up the stairs giggling the whole way.

-There is some amazingly strong magnetic force that literally pulls him into a bathroom at the speed of light....but somehow he hasn't found the joy of unrolling the toilet paper yet....thank goodness!!
-He loves his binkie and his silkie and literally melts in your arms when you give them to him.

-He loves any kind of music and has a sweet little "shake" dancing move that makes you laugh. --If he's crying in the car, the magical fix is to have the boys sing songs to him....works like a charm everytime!

- He LOVES LOVES LOVES any and every kind of ball. He has three signature moves that he does with a ball. #1 - He'll crawl around the house "swatting" a ball and chasing it around the house forever. We found him doing this with a olive the other day on the kitchen floor that somehow made it's way to the floor during dinner....it was hilarious. #2 - He'll just sit on the floor and try to hold as many balls in his cute little arms as possible. He doesn't want to play with them...he just wants to hold onto them for dear life. #3 - He loves for someone to hold his hands and walk around with him while he kicks a ball. And a few minutes is NEVER enough.....he could do this ALL day! So we had to have a ball party!!

It didn't take him long to figure out that he could dive on in and eat the cake all by himself! (Check out those lashes! Lucky boy!)

Thank goodness for big brothers to help us unwrap our presents!

Playing in my homemade ball pit....and sharing one of my precious balls with my bestest friend Otis! (who is probably the only living things that loves balls more than me!)
