It's a good thing my boys love me.....

To keep the boys up on their writing skills I bought them composition notebooks and turned them into their "summer journals." Each day I've picked a topic....or started the first sentence for them....and have given them the instruction to write 1 whole page. It has gone fairly well and they've written some fun things. Tonight I was too busy with a screaming baby, a naughty 2 year old, dinner, and trying to get out the door to a baby shower....so I let the boys pick their own topic.

Bad decision

I hope you can read phonetically.....and I wish I had the brain power to hook up my scanner so you can see their cute writing, but I don't. I will just type letter for letter and you can use your imagination on the rest.....

this is not fuuunnnnnnnnnnnn. It is a bumer summer with jornals. Whats worser? Nothing! o my gosh this is dumb. I could be playing the nintendo right now. But no Jeeeeeeeeeerk me. This is rediklaese. yes it is. soory mom I just wanted to be done. pleese dont get me in trouble please. I LOVE YOU MOMY. THIS IS REDECKLAESE But I love my momy.

I think they both need to be grounded for a solid week....AND be ordered to write a love letter to their mother telling her what a great idea summer journals are.....what do you think?

But then again, they DID do the assignment correctly...they both filled up one whole page......but then again Madden DID call me a "jerk" (although when I confronted him about it he quickly said he was referring to himself when he wrote that).....yah, I think I'll ground them.

No offense, but I think that that was very mean of you to make them write in a journal during their summer. Mom would have never done that! Sorry, you kind of deserved it! :)

You mean mother, let them enjoy the summer.

This is going to be so worth it when they are 30 and are trying to get their kids to do stuff. Mom might just pull this blog post out to show the grandkids! ha ha ha.
